The scene shows the interior of an American country house. The scene has two main events, an investigation one, and a flashback. The first one is lighted with warm lights looking for a feel of loneliness and nostalgia, a sunset that precedes imminent danger. The second one is lighted with blue and green lights looking for a feel of mystery and fear of the unknown.


 

Story, character & world:


The player is a detective with mental powers that investigates different mysterious disappearances.

The game takes place in the fictional village of Banrockburn. A lonely an old place where only lives lonely and old people.

The detective is currently investigating the disappearance of James Kenworth in his house. When the player finds enough clues he can use his mental powers to see the flashback and find the final clues.


Environment:


The level is set in a country house. Surrounded by the forest and a wheat field, this is an old house that has passed generations. The person who lives here is an old man that has started to think, after reading a lot, that maybe “they are watching us” and started to block the windows with some planks.


 

OCR’s:


  • Get to dormitory 1 (2 - 5 min):

    The player must find the key in the dining room and get to dormitory 1. Here the player can explore and get the clues from the open areas. The player can find the balcony key but this area is still not available. The key to dormitory1 is in the kitchen.

  • Get to the garage (2 - 4 min):

    The player must find the key in dormitory 1 and get to the garage. In dormitory 1, the player can get two new clues.

  • Get to dormitory 2 (2 - 3 min):

    The player must find the key in the garage and get to dormitory 2. In the garage, the player can get one new clue.

  • Get to dormitory 3 (2 - 4 min):

    The player must find the key in dormitory 2 and get to dormitory 3. In dormitory 2, the player can get one new clue. The balcony is now available if the player has the key.

  • Get to the basement (2 - 4 min):

    The player must find the key in dormitory 3 and get to the basement. In dormitory 3, the player can get two new clues

  • Find the flashback detonator (1 - 5 min):

    In the basement, the player can get four new clues. If the player had found enough clues, the flashback detonator is available.

Optional OCR

  • Find the clue in balcony 1 (2 min):

    From the start of the level, the player can find the key to the balcony. But the door is only available when the player had reached dormitory 2. Here is an optional clue.
