Modeled in 3DMax, textured with Substance Painter, assembled in Unreal Engine 4

The scene has 4 main places. The power room, the office, the dining room, and the living room. They all are connected through doors and corridors. I looked for some verticality between the different rooms.

For the project, I studied different references of modernist and brutalist buildings from the Soviet Union, series, and movies about bunkers or nuclear power to catch the feel of retro-futuristic technology.

Story:

The player is a veteran KGB agent that woke up in an apparently abandoned bunker. He must find how to escape and discover why and how he was there.

Environment:

The level is set in a soviet bunker constructed around the ’70s. The place must mix brutalist and modernist architecture, industrial features, and top technology from the ’70s from the Soviet culture.

OCR’s:

  • Take the key to the stairs (3 min):

The player must find the key (Puzzle key 1) to open the door o the stairs (Puzzle door 1). Down the stairs is another level where the player finds the office desk key.

  • Set the elevator power ON (4 min):

With the office desk key, the player could find the code (Puzzle key 2) to open the door to the Power core room (Puzzle door 2).

  • Get to the elevator (1 min):

Now the player can leave the level going to the elevator.
